Courtney Riddell
With over 20 years of experience in the arts, I have coached over 500 students, equipping them with performance skills and self-esteem. My journey began when I discovered the transformative power of musical theatre in my own life as a child, which fuels my passion for inspiring others. This personal experience allows me to connect deeply with children and parents alike, creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
My approach at Centre Stage Kids is centered around empowerment through creativity. I believe in fostering an inclusive environment where every child can express themselves freely and discover their unique voice. Unlike traditional methods that may focus solely on performance, my philosophy emphasizes self-expression and life skills that extend beyond the stage. I understand that every child is unique, and I tailor my guidance to meet their individual needs.

Our theatre and musical theatre programs inspire creativity, develop confidence, and help kids express themselves in exciting, playful ways. Whether your child is a preschooler taking their first dramatic steps or a homeschooler ready to explore the world of theatre, we make learning easy and fun!
With collaboration (not competition!) at the heart of everything we do, kids build real skills through games, movement, imagination, and connection. And for families learning at home, Courtney offers self-paced theatre and musical theatre programs designed specifically for homeschoolers and kids who want to learn theatre from home. Because we believe every child deserves the chance to act, sing, play—and shine their brightest!
Through our engaging theatre and musical theatre experiences, children gain confidence, develop essential life skills, and forge lasting friendships. The transition from feeling shy and uncertain to confident and expressive is a remarkable transformation that I witness regularly. Parents often express how their children not only improve their performance skills but also develop a newfound self-assurance that positively impacts other areas of their lives.
