Junior Rehearsals:
Mondays 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
September 8th - December 22nd
No rehearsal October 13th (Thanksgiving)
No rehearsal December 29th (Holiday break)
Jan 5th - 19th 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Show week January 19th (extra rehearsals will be added)
There will be an extra rehearsal or two added in January as well
Show - January 23rd - 25th (Guelph Community Christian School)
Rehearsal Location - Water St Church (287 Water St)
Program cost is $600 (tax included and can be made in instalments)
Your performer will receive over 45 hours of rehearsal, special workshops and an opportunity to perform in front of a number of live audiences
Show info:
Performers will receive a script and a part(s) and will be expected to memorize lines, work on dance steps and music during rehearsal and at home. I do believe in every child having lots of opportunities so I usually work with the script to make this achievable. This show will be double casted so performers will have the opportunity learn a "main" role and a "supporting" role.
Matilda JR is a magical, high-energy musical based on Roald Dahl’s beloved story! It follows the brilliant and brave Matilda Wormwood, a young girl with a wild imagination, a love of books, and a few surprising powers.
With the help of her kind teacher Miss Honey, Matilda stands up to the terrible Miss Trunchbull and proves that even the smallest kids can do extraordinary things. Full of catchy songs, bold characters, and heart, Matilda JR is a fun and inspiring adventure for the whole family!
